Valentin Sierra Arias is an aspiring Master in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and holds a Master of International Economics and Finance degree from Johns Hopkins University. He previously served as policy analyst for a Washington, D.C.-based research and consulting firm, and also as managing editor of Vox.LACEA.org, the research portal of the Latin American and Caribbean Economic Association. His research interests lie at the intersection of productivity, informality and sustainable economic development in post-conflict Colombia, where he hopes to pursue a career in public service after a stint in consulting.
