Tara, a Rocky Mountain native, was born in Switzerland and brought up in Denver. She spent the last four years at Caltech, receiving her B.S. in computer science. She has done research at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in biochemistry and spent the next three years of her undergraduate life working in a developmental biology lab using computational analysis to better understand embryo development among other biological phenomena. Tara is a PhD student in bioengineering at the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS), interested in medically relevant research. She loves people, dancing to the beat of life’s drum, and music. New to this coast, Tara looks forward to enjoying and exploring a new chapter in Cambridge!
