Simone is a Swiss qualified attorney and currently a Master of Public Health (MPH) student at the Harvard School of Public Health. Born and raised in Switzerland, she obtained a Master of Laws from the Universities of Zurich and Paris X and was a member of the Bar of Zurich. She specialized in corporate law and worked for a large international law firm in their mergers & acquisitions group. Simone moved to London two years ago to work for a boutique management consulting firm advising life science clients. This experience, together with a qualification in personal training and her passion for anything related to food, led to her interest in public health, specifically food policy. To prepare for her studies at Harvard, she completed an internship in food policy, researching worldwide food policies promoting a healthy life style to prevent chronic disease, and acted as legal adviser to a Swiss foundation working to combat malnutrition through facilitating and implementing public-private partnerships . After completion of her MPH, Simone intends to continue to work in food policy internationally.
