Sam Yi is a Master in Public Policy candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. His graduate studies focus on the intersection of the public and private sectors in international development. Prior to his graduate studies, Sam had the privilege of serving in the Navy and supporting a non-profit organization in China. He currently serves as the Chair of the North Korea Study Group at Harvard and will co-lead a group of 34 Harvard graduate students on a trek to North Korea. Sam earned his undergraduate degree in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University with both University and Political Science Departmental Honors as an Aitchison Public Service Fellow. He enjoys travel, sports, and photography.
