Ryan Gregg is a PhD candidate in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, studying religion. His research topics are theologies and philosophies of love, particularly in the Christian tradition, and Hebrew poetry. Ryan grew up in Montana, and before coming to Harvard studied at Northwest University and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. While in Israel, Ryan worked as public relations director for Shevet Achim (שבת אחים), a non-profit that assists children from underprivileged areas of the Middle East receive open heart surgeries in Israeli hospitals. He holds a masters degree from Harvard Divinity School in philosophy of religion, and in the future hopes to be a Christian minister and a professor of religious studies.
