Rick Kjellberg spent the first ten years of his career as an officer and instructor pilot in the U.S. Air Force, developing expertise in operations and training. He flew Cabinet Secretaries, Members of Congress and general officers. He served in North Dakota, Washington DC, and the White House—the latter as a Military Social Aide. In 2006, he joined Chatham Financial near Philadelphia and became a Senior Consultant through two roles. First, he advised primarily commercial real estate clients on their derivatives strategy and helped them achieve fair pricing on hedging execution with their banks. Second, he advised global clients on sophisticated debt management and valuation software, assisting CFOs and Treasurers with their GAAP-compliant financial reporting. Upon graduation from the Harvard Kennedy School, Rick will transition to the CleanTech industry where he plans to assist a start-up in operational or financial roles. Rick is a Distinguished Graduate of the US Air Force Academy with a BS in Astronautical Engineering. He has an MA in Information Resource Management from Central Michigan University and an MBA in Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
