Renee is a Master in Public Policy degree student at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, concentrating in International and Global Affairs. Renee is also currently a Major in the US Army. This summer she will continue her military service as an instructor of international relations in the Social Sciences Department at West Point. Prior to beginning her studies at the Kennedy School, Renee served for nine years on active duty as a Military Police officer. Her service includes deployments to the Balkans, Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Renee has performed a variety of missions – from leading a platoon at a remote combat outpost on the Af-Pak border to serving as an aide-de-camp. She earned her undergraduate degree from West Point where she played softball and qualified for the women’s national Olympic team handball program. As a Buffalo native, Renee is an avid Bills & Sabers fan and will forever believe that this is the year they go all the way! She enjoys hiking, once outran a bear, and watches too much TV for a grad student.
