Prateek Dutta

Prateek DuttaPrateek Dutta is a first year doctoral student at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, studying Education Leadership. 

Before arriving at Harvard, Prateek attended the University of Northern Colorado where he majored in Political Science and History. Upon graduating, Prateek was accepted into Teach For America and placed in New Orleans where he was a teacher-leader for 4 years, teaching History in 5th and 6th grade.  After achieving achievement results that were one of the best in the state of Louisiana, Prateek wanted to make sure his student were succeeding in high school and college.  Prateek then decided to leave the classroom and work for KIPP Through College where he advised the first graduating class of seniors from the KIPP network.

In Prateek’s non-existent free time, he likes to read the newspaper, play basketball, analyze election polling and binge watch shows on Netflix.
