Paulina is a joint-degree candidate for Master in Business Administration (MBA) and Master in Public Policy (MPP) at the Harvard Business School and the Harvard Kennedy School. Prior to this, Paulina worked at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and at the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS). At BCG, she worked on projects for both private firms and nonprofit foundations. At WCS, she helped develop an engagement strategy with mining and oil/gas companies operating in the biodiversity-rich regions that WCS is working to protect. Paulina has a M.Sc. from MIT’s Technology and Policy Program, where she conducted research on sustainability and corporate social responsibility, and a B.A. in Physics and International Relations from Wellesley College. Paulina is a former Watson Fellow, whose research project focused on the use of small-scale energy technologies for off-grid communities and had her travel across various developing countries. Paulina is originally from Mexico City, and has lived abroad since she was 17, when she left home to study at a United World College. She loves SCUBA diving, Latin dancing, and sharing a good meal with friends.
