Matt did his undergraduate work at Vanderbilt University, where he studied History and Public Policy. While living in Nashville after graduating with his Bachelor’s, Matt worked as the Director of Community Engagement for Lightning 100, a local, independent radio station. In addition to providing him access to endless great music, his role at the station gave him the opportunity to expand upon the company’s non-profit and community service initiatives, inspiring him to learn more about the ability of for-profit organizations to play integral roles in their bettering their communities. In his free time, you can find Matt reading, drinking coffee, and relishing the recent World Series victory of his beloved Chicago Cubs.
