June is a second year student at the Harvard Business School. She grew up in Nairobi, Kenya. Prior to attending HBS, June was a product manager at EMC – an information technology firm based in Massachusetts – where she oversaw product strategy and development for a segment of its enterprise products. She started her career as a software engineer after obtaining a BS in Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts in Lowell. June is also founder of the ZOO Memorial Foundation (a non-profit) and co-founder of ZOO Mobile Enterprises (a social enterprise) which provide access to Information and Communications Technology (ICT) resources to underserved Kenyan communities. June is interested in entrepreneurial activities. She also enjoys yoga, cooking, laughing, reading and traveling.
