Joy Li is a first year MBA candidate at Harvard Business School. After graduating from NYU’s Stern School of Business in 2011, Joy started her career on Wall Street as an Investment Banker at Credit Suisse. She later transitioned into the nonprofit sector, helping to launch the new Transformation Office at the Girl Scouts of the USA. At the Girl Scouts, Joy worked cross-functionally and directly with senior management to spearhead strategic projects focused on driving sustainable growth and operational efficiencies across the 104-year-old organization. Joy is passionate about helping mission-driven organizations develop the tools, processes and competencies they need to succeed. Ultimately, she hopes to work towards harnessing the collective power of businesses, governments and social impact organizations to drive social change to the next level. In her free time, Joy enjoys hiking, yoga, book club, travel, and photography.
