Jeenal Sawla is an architect from Mumbai currently in the second year of her Master of Urban Planning course at the Graduate School of Design. She worked in India and Switzerland on architecture and urban development projects before coming to the US. She identifies herself as an advocacy planner and is interested in governance and issues of equity. She is passionate about cities, their history, struggles, economies and their built forms. She enjoys dancing to Bollywood music and hopes to one day be able to sing before an audience without embarrassing herself!
