Imani Anwisye

Imani AnwisyeImani was born and raised in St. Louis as the third of four children. She attended K-12 at Frederick Douglass Institute, a community-based school started by her parents; completed her undergraduate degree at Washington University in St. Louis, and obtained her medical and public health degrees at Harvard. Experiences working with medically underserved from St. Louis to New Mexico to South Africa solidified Imani’s desire to help eliminate healthcare disparities through expanding medical access to marginalized populations – locally and internationally.  In addition to spending time with her husband, Imani enjoys writing, a good game of tennis and spending quality time with her family and friends.
