Hao Wu is a second-year MBA student at Harvard Business School. Prior to HBS, he obtained BA and MA in Mechanical Engineering at Cambridge University. He then worked as a management trainee in Halma plc, a British manufacturing group, spending time on factory floor, R&D labs, and industrial/agricultural customers’ sites in UK, US, and China. While studying engineering, he learned Spanish on the side, and worked on developing and building low-income housing solutions for Latin America, including doing five weeks of field work in Ecuador. Hao was born and raised in China, and went to high school in Singapore. He articulates his dream as “to bring technology to the world”, and is currently working on AI-enabled healthcare technologies and Internet of Things (IoT). After graduation, he plans to join Danaher Group, a technology and manufacturing group company in the US, to work on their IoT innovations. Meanwhile, he is also pondering ideas on how to popularize Chinese martial arts.
