Grant is a 2014 J.D. Candidate at Harvard Law School. Growing up just outside of Chicago, Illinois, Grant graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, where he majored in Anthropology and Woman, Gender, & Sexuality Studies. Following undergrad, Grant worked at a small law firm helping attorneys with immigration and real estate issues. At Harvard Law School, he realized his passion was the intersection between health laws and policies with food laws and policies. To that end, he has worked with leading legal and policy organizations addressing these important, but oft-overlooked issues. He also has served as the treasurer of the Food Law Society, worked as a research assistant looking at laws and regulation of dietary supplements at the Harvard School of Public Health. Grant also loves live music (and dancing), cooking, unnecessary physical challenges (such as Tough Mudders, 200+ mile relay races), and parenthetical phrases.
