Evelyn has joined HGSLI as a first-year Master’s student with a concentration on Religion, Ethics, and Politics. Evelyn is a graduate of Cornell, the Gorges part of New York that has well prepared her for the tough winter in Cambridge. Born into a family of social justice movement leaders, Evelyn has always been passionate about justice, fairness, and simply, getting it right. While her interest in social justice is wide-ranging, she’s particularly passionate about women’s rights, ending gender-based violence, and reforming criminal justice system so women and girls in poverty can get a fair shot at life. She has been involved in a non-profit work to advocate for trafficked women and girls, and she continues to expand her work in different capacities upon graduation.
