Erik Bauch is PhD Candidate in Physics at Harvard University with a research focus on quantum optics, nanoscale magnetometry and super-resolution microscopy. He received his Diploma in Physics from TU Berlin in 2010 and conducted research projects at the synchrotron facility BESSY, CERN in Switzerland and the University of California Berkeley. In his free time, you can find him DJing on parties or working on his startup openrev.org. He has been co-organizer of the German-American Conference at Harvard 2014, 2015 and 2016/2017. In the future he wants to use data science to transform research.
