Deepti Doshi is a Mid-Career Master in Public Administration at Harvard Kennedy Square where she focuses on the role of education and leadership in economic growth and community participation. She most recently was the India Country Representative of Escuela Nueva Foundation where she focused on bringing its innovative educational methodologies developed in Columbia to government and low-cost schools in India. Deepti has also been part of the startup team of a social enterprise focused on creating a chain of high quality private schools in small towns across India. Before that, Deepti was Talent Manager at Acumen Fund, a non-profit global venture fund, where she helped design and launched the Acumen Fund Fellows Program as well as recruiting and the professional development of its staff. Deepti has also worked as management consultant at Katzenbach Partners and was part of a launching global leadership development firm. She has also helped build a vocational training institute at an orphanage in India that served victims of the 2001 earthquake in Gujarat. Deepti graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Economics and a BA in Psychology. Deepti is looking forward to building more experiential ways for Kennedy School student to build their leadership, and think about ways to adapt leadership models developed at the Kennedy School so they can work for younger populations.
