Denise Bailey-Castro is a second year MPA student at the Harvard Kennedy School. She is a native New Yorker, education advocate, and entertainment enthusiast. Denise started her career at JPMorgan, primarily financing sports teams and stadiums across the four major leagues. As a yearlong Education Pioneers Fellow, she worked for The Achievement Network, a Boston-based education non-profit, on their growth strategy, and launched a Saturday enrichment program for middle school students in Dorchester. Most recently, Denise has enjoyed summer internships at Paramount Pictures and HBO. She holds a BA in Economics & Urban Studies from the University of Pennsylvania and is also currently pursuing her MBA at MIT Sloan. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, hip hop yoga, and spin classes.
