Cortney Robinson is a third year student at Harvard Law School. She is presently a student attorney with and Vice President of Membership for the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau, the oldest student-run, legal services provider in the United States. She has also served as Secretary of the Harvard Black Law Student Association. She previously interned with the United Parcel Service’s (UPS) in-house counsel and plans to join Jones Day, an international law firm, post-graduation. Long term, Cortney hopes to use her law degree in the public sector, focusing primarily on advancing the economic conditions and opportunities of African American communities. Cortney is native of Durham, North Carolina and a proud alumna of Howard University.
