Christina Cho is a first year student at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She was raised in Eureka, California and studied biology at University of California, Berkeley. At UC Berkeley, she was an intern at the Asian Pacific American Student Development (APASD) program. She worked with the undocumented community, Southeast Asian American community, and local community college students to better serve the diverse needs of Asian American students on campus. Through community-centered work and the friendships she formed with her fellow APASD interns, Christina realized that she, too, could become a leader. The two most important people in her life are her mother and sister. As an immigrant woman from South Korea, Christina’s mother inspires Christina’s life, work, and dreams. In her free time, Christina enjoys exploring Boston, jogging to the Charles, cooking, and eating vegetables like butternut squash!
