Caleb Phillips is an active duty Army officer and Master in Public Policy candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government (HKS). Originally from Panama City, FL, Caleb attended the United States Military Academy where he studied Nuclear Engineering. Upon graduation, Caleb was commissioned as an Armor officer and served in a variety of command and staff positions both in the United States and Afghanistan. Caleb last served as a Troop Commander and then as the lead planner for Chief of Armor’s strategic initiatives group in Fort Benning, GA. Upon completion of graduate school, Caleb will teach strategy, operational art and tactics in the Defense and Strategic Studies Program at the United States Military Academy.
Caleb’s professional interests lie in military strategy, terrorism, and leadership. In his free time, Caleb enjoys reading, running, weight lifting and spending time with his spouse Crystal and their two children, Georgia (5) and Caleb Jr. (2).
