Asad grew up in Lahore, Pakistan where he attended the Lahore University of Management Sciences. Before joining Harvard Kennedy, Asad was advising the Chief Minister’s office in Punjab, Pakistan as part of a Health Services Delivery Reform effort in Pakistan’s largest province (Pop: 100m). Here, he led a 20% improvement in vaccination coverage (~3,000 lives saved annually) for the province. He also helped set-up a central Delivery Unit for the Punjab Government. In his free-time, Asad loves mountaineering and kite-flying. He’s been on several treks to the Himalayan and Karakoram mountain ranges. Asad has lived in Pakistan, Austria and Saudi Arabia.
