Anita Krishnan is a Master’s candidate in Human Development and Psychology at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she focuses on organizational psychology, adult development, and using storytelling for leadership and social change. She was a Teaching Fellow for Public Narrative with Marshall Ganz last fall, where she realized her love for being a narrative coach and helping people to develop their stories. Anita studied Journalism and Linguistics as an undergraduate, and she attributes her deep fascination with humans, language, and culture to her nomadic upbringing in Australia, Singapore, and the United States. She served in the Peace Corps in Paraguay from 2009-2011 and prior to coming to Harvard, Anita earned an M.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies (MIIS) in Monterey, California. In her free time, Anita can be found in coffee shops, bookstores, or at open mic nights – playing her guitar and singing nostalgic songs of different lives, lands, and times gone by.
