Anish Mehta is an MPP candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School (and a concurrent MD candidate at Case Western Reserve University). Prior to the Kennedy School, Anish helped to start a student-run free clinic in Cleveland and conducted health policy research at the Cleveland Clinic. He is also also the director of research for a social enterprise called Ottoclave (guess what they make…) and is running a clinical trial with Ottoclaves in Nepal. After finishing school, Anish is interested in improving systems of health care delivery that will help hopefully patients inside and outside the clinic. Anish graduated with a BA from the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in the biological basis of behavior. Originally from Cincinnati, OH, Anish finds that his Ohio pride increases dramatically as he strays from the midwest and during presidential election season.
