Amaad Mahmood is a Master in Public Policy 2017 candidate at Harvard Kennedy School, where he is a Belfer IGA Fellow, and sponsored by the Holbeck Trust and Anthony Horowitz. Amaad graduated from the University of Oxford, where he was a Churchill Fellow, a Peter Kirk EU Scholar, and was awarded a First Class Honours degree and the Gibbs Prize, Proxime Accessit. Upon graduation, Amaad joined Lazard in their London mergers and acquisitions group, focussing on the natural resources sector. More recently he worked at SICP LLP, a specialist energy investment fund, and at ACCESS Corporate Finance, an independent energy and infrastructure advisory firm, founded by Lazard and Morgan Stanley professionals. He has supported the Graham Layton Trust, which provides free eye-care to the poor in Pakistan, and in outreach work and mentoring for first-generation university students.
