Sara Gentile is an MBA candidate at the Harvard Business School expecting to graduate in May 2016. Originally from Sudbury, Massachusetts, Sara received a degree in Public Policy and American Institutions from Brown University and continues to support her alma mater as a member of the Brown Alumni Association Board of Governors. Prior to graduate school, Sara held the position of program manager at Public Partnerships, a subsidiary of Public Consulting Group. At Public Partnerships she oversaw financial management services for Medicaid and other publicly-funded participant-directed care programs for seniors and others with disabilities in several states. She has extensive experience in program management, cross-functional team leadership, and new business development. Last summer Sara interned at Bain & Company in Boston. Sara is passionate about improving the experience of older adults (senior living) and learning about and supporting nonprofit organizations. While at HBS, Sara has kept herself connected to the non-profit sector through co-leading HBS’s Board Fellows and Social Enterprise Consulting (BFSEC) Club, co-designing a new course (“Nonprofit Clinic: Tackling Inequality” – currently being piloted at HBS this spring), and through collaborating on an Independent Project with Hebrew Senior Life this past fall.
